Happy Spring! Oh and it was a loooong winter here in Northern Virginia! We've had snow in April and now we're having record breaking heat in the upper 80's! Did I ever mention that we relocated back to Northern Virginia? We bought a house near the Bull Run Mountains which happens to be 1/2 the drive for my dear husband to work. It feels good to be back in this area. We moved in the middle of February after renting in our old neighborhood for 6 months.
Now that we're in here, I've been trying to get set up to paint and sew. I'm almost there, but still running up and down the stairs to hunt for supplies as I need them. I was able to put a little something on pfattmarketplace.com last month and some more detailed projects this month. Hope you'll check out the site this month and enjoy your April. ~Debbie

Thought I'd get in here and post a couple of pictures of Buddy I took on Friday. We just got Buddy about 5 months ago, and we're working on lots of little things with this former "mill doggie". He really doesn't want to come in the house when I want him to. I call him and he just stares at me. If I walk into the house, he will just sit--wherever he was --just sit! I don't take my eyes off of him and although I wish he would come in without me going to pick him up--its so funny to see him "just sit" where he was. He's a funny little guy and gives us our dose of laughter every day.
We're preparing as much as possible for Sandy and praying that everybody in her path stays safe. Hope she can tell she's not welcome and goes back to sea. We're close to Dulles IA, so whatever you see happening there is probably what's happening at our house. Every body's prayers are appreciated!

I'm hoping that one more trip back to the storage unit will get me the rest of what I need to start making some Santa's.
I am so honored to have been chosen again as one of America's finest in Early American Life Magazine Holiday edition. I was pleasantly surprised to see they put a picture of my 2012 George Washington and Abe Lincoln in the magzaine.
My Email address is still the same. So please drop me a note when you get a chance - email@example.com

I'm so happy to show you our newest additon. His name is Buddy. He's a 4 yr old, wheaten Cairn Terrier. We adopted him from Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network. It took a little while to go through the process, and arrange a trip to meet his foster Mom to pick him up, but the wait was well worth it. He is so precious and well behaved and now our Winnie has a new companion to keep him from being such a couch potatoe. Hope all of you have a safe and Happy Easter! ~Debbie (If you would like to adopt a Cairn Terrier, please go to www.cairnrescue.com for more information.)
