I think, like so many, now that the holidays are over we're just taking winter one day at a time because it seems as though that's what it gives us. We're really getting cold here and I know its a concern for the Inauguration festivities. I've been feeling bad for our little 4 legged guys lately. We've cut back on their nightly walks because its been so bitter cold.
I thought I would share a picture of our Gonchar (named after a Russian Hockey Player) sitting in my sewing room. He's a sweet 15 lb Silky Terrier that we got at the shelter about 7 years ago. He was brought in as a stray. He had little to no hair on his ears and tail. The little neighbor children said his tail looked like a little finger! My husband said I went to the shelter and found the most pitiful looking dog out the bunch. Gonchar is really a sweet little guy despite his fears of loud noises and love for barking. He has a 4 legged companion, Winnie, as of April this year. Winnie was my Mom's dog. I'll have to snap a picture of him soon.
